FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONs

How do I reserve a spot?

A £200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due on or before 1st September 2025. Click here to book.

How many participants will there be?

The workshop is available for up to 15 attendees to join, which will be split into smaller groups of 5 max on the day. Within these smaller groups, each participant will be given 1:1 time with the models, and the opportunity to make the most of the setups.

How will the workshop run?

The event will have well-planned shooting schedules and multiple styled scenes for participants to capture. The small groups are rotated throughout the day so that every participant has the opportunity to document a variety of wedding ‘scenes’ with and wothout the models, and wedding-day-inspired details, ensuring you will leave with a portfolio of beautiful content.

Is it suitable for beginners?

This wedding workshop is open to anyone looking to boost their portfolios, and is open to both experienced photographers and filmmakers, and those just getting started. For beginners, or those new to the wedding industry, it is advisable to have some understanding of how to use your camera, so that you can benefit from the content available to shoot. I will be on hand throughout the workshop and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, to help you get the most out of the styled shoot.

What kind of equipment should I bring?

We recommend bringing your preferred camera bodies and lenses (including portrait options), as well as extra memory cards and batteries. While additional equipment like lighting or reflectors is optional, you’re welcome to bring items you feel will help enhance your work.

Can I submit my images for publication (e.g. wedding blogs & magazines)?

Yes! We fully support and encourage attendees to submit their work for publication. The only requirements are you must wait 6 weeks after the date of the editorial, before you submit, to allow for the venue to put forward content to their desired publications, and you must include the full vendor list, so that all suppliers are credited.

Do I need to provide content to the suppliers of the shoot (e.g. florist, stationer, etc.)?

That's totally up to you! It's a great way to build relationships with other vendors, however, it is not a requirement. Either myself or a member of my team will be joining one of the smaller groups to ensure it runs smoothly, and will be capturing content alongside you to pass on to the suppliers- so they will receive images and video from us. However, I'm sure they would appreciate any additional content should you choose to share it with them.

Are meals included?

Lunch is included in your ticket price on the 17th September.
Dinner and breakfast is included for overnight guests staying at Tredudwell Manor. Please note: you would need to book and pay for the separate accommodation fee for this, unless you purchase 'Bundle 2' which includes accommodation in the price..

What’s the difference between the main editorial shoot at Tredudwell Manor (and the coast) on the 17th Sept and the 'Elopement by the Sea' shoot on the 18th Sept?

The main workshop shoot on the 17th September 2025 is designed to portray certain elements of a traditional wedding day with lots of details, multiple setups, and both Tredudwell Manor and the Cornish coast as stunning backdrops.
The 'Romance by the Sea' content shoot on the 18th September is a more intimate, 90-minute session at one coastal location, featuring a model couple in one look and just a few small details.

Can I book accommodation even if I don’t stay for the add-on shoot?

Yes, accommodation at Tredudwell Manor is available to all participants, subject to availability.

What happens if I can no longer make the workshop after booking?

The cost of your ticket to the workshop is non-refundable, however, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another photographer or videographer.
